For prominent drivers like Stirling Moss, Jackie Stewart, Jochen Mass and Tony Brook's it´s an opportunity to achieve former results. The winner's honour is carried out personally by the Earl of March.
The "Saint Mary´s Trophy" is the most popular race, featuring classic cars from 1950 to 1959. A Gaz Volga M 21 (build 1959) was the favourite of the spectators.
Highlight of the runnings was the "royal automobile club TT Celebration" with the changing of the drivers during the run. Part of the race was Jochen Mass and the only former female Formula 1 winner Desire Wilson.

But Goodwood Revival is not only about racing. The atmosphere in the gigantic park is unique. Visitors wear costumes of the 50s, 60s and 70s. Even the kids take part and dress up in historical costumes. A real eye-catcher is the "Ladies Day" on Saturday, where female visitors wear hot pants, mini skirts and the looks of the 60s and 70s.
Not far from the racing track, the Earls Court Motor Show has been reconstructed faithfully. And who didn´t have his outfit for this years event , had the opportunity to get a new costume at the Revival Market, to be ready for his time trip in 2012, if the slogan is again "welcome tot he time capsule"!
